When you configure Contextual Commerce, we require three pieces of information. These are provided to Contextual Commerce using the activate(...)
function.
The siteId identifies you as a client to our system. We use this ID in every communication with our systems, and to differentiate your information from that of other clients. This is a basic ID.
Your Bazaarvoice Strategist can tell you what your site ID is.
For monitoring and analytics purposes, we collect the versions of our client applications. This can take the form of whichever unique identifier you use internally to track application version.
